Except for a little jigging and inattentiveness during the test, I'm pretty happy with the way Goldie went today. Tomorrow I'll try to stay more relaxed and hopefully keep her a little more focused. She often calls to her friends, but hadn't until she got in the ring! The good thing is she keeps going, she doesn't get balky or stop when she starts whinnying. I think also you can only push her walk so much before she breaks to trot, so I had to keep that in mind when I was riding her forward and getting her mind back on her job. In the extended trot she's not the most extravagant mover; Silva taught me to slow her down a little extra in the corners to "fake it" a little so that there would be more of a difference in her gaits.
