Goldie passed the veterinary inspection with flying colors. It was kind of funny, she rubs her tail, so she has to wear a tail extension; according to FEI rules you have to bring it separately, so I carried it draped over my arm. Someone asked if it belonged to my horse and I joked that I wasn't presenting Rapunzel! Michelle is my handler and won the best-dressed award, with a chic blue top and white pants and coordinating jewelry. I won best dressed in California, and Michelle was best-dressed handler at Pinehurst, so we're on a bit of a roll here. which is funny because there are a lot of stylish, younger people involved in the sport. Michelle has figured out how to dress to compliment the horse, and coordinate clothing and jewelry - which doesn't have to be expensive to look nice - really well.
